Air-IT Relocates to Interchange 25 Business Park

Managed ICT services provider Air-IT has relocated its headquarters to new premises at Interchange 25 Business Park, Nottingham.

The company has signed a five-year lease on unit 7 (5,440 sq ft) at an annual rent of £70,000 with the landlord, Hortons’ Estate Limited.

FHP advised Hortons’ on the letting.

Established in 2005, Air-IT provides a range of services, including service desk support, cyber security, backup and business continuity, consultancy and cloud, as well as telephony, mobile and broadband and connectivity solutions.

The new HQ replaces Air-IT’s previous head offices at Nottingham Business Park, which the company has retained and will use as a training facility for customers, as well as providing additional space for future growth.

Managed Business Communications (MBC), which was acquired by Air-IT in 2013, has also moved into the new building.

James Healey, managing director of Air-IT, said: “The decision to relocate was a logical step in our journey. Since we were founded in 2005, we’ve enjoyed consistent high growth year on year, increasing to 30 per cent over the last two. As a result, we needed more room to accommodate our growing team and to help us attract and retain the best talent.

“Located centrally between Nottingham and Derby, and ideally situated at Junction 25 of the M1, the move has opened our doors to a wider geographical area and will increase our ability to service clients based throughout the East Midlands and across the UK.”

Air-IT joins existing tenants Coleby Associates LLP, Gamestec Leisure Limited, and Nurture and Renew Holdings on the business park.

Jeremy Boothroyd from Hortons said: “We’re pleased to welcome Air-IT to Interchange 25. They are a successful, growing IT business and their presence on the park will complement the existing mix of tenants.

“As a result of the letting, we now have just two offices of 4,142 sq ft remaining.”

Mark Tomlinson from FHP said: “Hortons has taken a view to actively manage this office site at Interchange 25 Business Park, which is located ideally for businesses with good levels of onsite car parking and excellent access to the motorway system”.

“When we were invited to take over the agency role on the site, these buildings required a level of modernisation and Hortons has carried out an excellent quality of refurbishment on these buildings and is now reaping the rewards for its efforts. These are now some of the best quality office buildings in the area.”
