Tattooist pens deal at historic city centre arcade

An independent tattooist has chosen Piccadilly Arcade for its first outlet in Birmingham.

Resiliency Tattoo Studio has signed a five-year lease with landlord, Hortons, on Unit 17 at the historic city centre arcade.

The custom tattoo and piercing studio will be led by multi-award winning, senior artist Cleytton Cassino, alongside Adriele, Thaua and Dale, who together bring over 35 years of combined industry experience.

Hourly and whole day appointments will be available, and there are plans to welcome guest artists.

Cleytton at Resiliency, said: “Being located at the heart of the city centre, makes us easy to find and convenient for all clients, but especially those travelling further to see us as we’re  only a two minute walk from Grand Central. We’re excited to welcome people of all ages, races and orientations into our safe and comfortable space.”

It is the latest letting to be completed by Hortons at Piccadilly Arcade, and follows the arrival of London’s premier indoor interactive clay pigeon shooting experience, Clays, on a 25-year lease. The final remaining unit at the arcade is currently under offer.

Harry Young, of Hortons, said that the recent lettings had further strengthened Piccadilly Arcade’s reputation for housing thriving, independent tenants.

He said: “Resiliency is a young and ambitious business and we’re very pleased to be able to give it an opportunity to gain a foothold in one of the most historic retail and leisure destinations in Birmingham

“We have fielded enquiries from several interested parties but have chosen the occupiers that best complement the tenant mix at Piccadilly Arcade and enhance the existing offering to consumers.”
