Hortons welcomes luxury jeweller to Birmingham’s New Street

Luxury jewellery and watch retailer, Rudell the Jewellers, has officially opened its new 4,000 sq ft showroom in the heart of Birmingham city centre.

The retailer unveiled its newly refurbished facility at The Burlington, New Street, at a grand opening event, hosted by its managing director, Jon Weston.

The event included invited guests from Hortons, which owns and manages the property, and the Lord Mayor of Birmingham, Councillor Ken Wood, who described the new showroom as “nothing short of phenomenal”.

Spanning two floors, the venue features some of the world’s most prestigious jewellery brands, and is the exclusive home of Patek Philippe in Birmingham.

Rudells is the first of two high-profile openings in the city centre, with interactive clay target shooting experience, Clays, set to launch at Piccadilly Arcade in December 2024.

Nina Meeks of Hortons, said: “We are very pleased to have facilitated the expansion of Rudells in Birmingham. Jon Weston and his team have built a reputation for excellence which is matched by the quality of the stunning new showroom – it really has been refurbished to the highest standards.

“It’s an exciting time for leisure and retail in Birmingham city centre, and we’re very much looking forward to Clays opening its first venue outside London. We’re sure that its unique brand of competitive socialising will prove extremely popular.”
