Hortons world cup quiz

Property professionals from across the West Midlands assembled at Pennyblacks in the Mailbox to test their knowledge of all things World Cup in the “World Cup Quiz from H.E.L” on 3rd July 2014.

Hosted by Hortons’ Estate Ltd (H.E.L) the 28 teams were challenged on their World Cup know-how and dancing skills as they helped to raise £5,200 for The Birmingham Childrens Hosptal.

Organiser and property manager at Hortons, Melissa Spence, said: “We are delighted that the quiz has been a huge success and the generosity of the teams and sponsors has been fantastic.

The Dancing Queen round proved as popular as ever, which saw some fine dancing to tracks including, The Cha Cha Slide, and Macarena and culminating in an impromptu Conga around the Mailbox.

Throughout the evening members of staff from the Charity were on hand to talk about the work it does and where the donation would be directed.

GVA Grimley came out top and lifted the replica World Cup Trophy, with Handelsbanken taking the runners-up spot and DWF collecting the wooden spoon.
