Small firms services (SFS) relocate to city centre offices in Coventry

A Coventry company which supports small businesses has marked its 15th anniversary by re-locating to a new office in the city centre.

Small Firms Services (SFS) has provided registered office services, company formation advice and virtual offices with specialist services since it was set-up by brothers Steve and Mike Harris.

The eight-strong company has now moved from Copthall House in Station Square due to the Friargate development to 2,000 sq ft offices in Sheriffs Orchard, Greyfriars Court in Queen Victoria Road after signing a 10-year lease.

The company was assisted in its move to the premises which are owned by Birmingham-based Hortons by Coventry-based D&P Holt – which arranged the letting – and Shortland Penn + Moore, who are both marketing Greyfriars Court.

Steve, co-owner and director, said their new office suite was perfect for the needs of the business and their clients. “The location in the city centre is ideal along with the proximity to the solicitors who we work closely with,” he said. “Company registration is the core activity of our business as we register limited companies which is a legal process so it is important we are near the legal community. “We also provide virtual office address services when we forward mail for sole traders, new businesses, limited companies and limited liability partnerships as well as run a legalisation service. “We are very happy with the premises since it is a better environment for our customers due to our older building being rather dated and since we represent businesses, we want to make sure people have a modern office to visit as well as a place of work that it is good for our staff.

Transport is not a problem since we are close to public transport links with the railway station and bus station being within walking distance and all in all, we are really pleased with our new home.

Greyfriars Court has offices which are ideal for welcoming customers and the units are ideal for SMEs wanting to expand or to be located within Coventry City Centre.

There is a myriad of businesses located within the building and two other vacant office suites are currently under offer which underlines its popularity.
