Double deal at boutique Birmingham office building
24 June 2022
The UK’s largest specialist events recruitment agency and an award-winning creative consultancy have become the latest businesses to relocate to prestigious offices in Birmingham.
Live Recruitment Ltd, which works with businesses across the events, exhibition, experiential and digital industries, has signed for five years at 21 Bennetts Hill in the heart of Birmingham city centre.
The recruiter is joined by full service creative consultancy, Giants and Titans which has agreed a five-year lease on a 1,250 sq ft office suite.
Landlord Hortons’ Estate Ltd has now let five suites at 21 Bennetts Hill in the last six months, following completion of a £1.5m plus renovation.
The upper six floors of the art deco style building have been upgraded to deliver boutique Grade A office accommodation behind a period facade.
There are a range of suites still available for occupation, which have been designed to support the increasingly popular hybrid way of working.
Dave Reed, partner at Giants and Titans, said: “As in many industries, the demand for talent in the creative sector is huge, so having a beautiful, well-located office for our top-class people to work in is really important for us. 21 Bennetts Hill gives us all the kind of environment that supports the creation of outstanding work for our global client base by a happy, connected and inspired team.”
Richard Walker of Hortons’ said: “We made a considerable investment in 21 Bennetts Hill by comprehensively refurbishing the property to a high standard, so it’s pleasing to see the high level of occupier interest. Businesses have been attracted by the quality of the contemporary office accommodation, which blends with the character and heritage of the building. We are offering flexible and competitive terms on the remaining office suites that would suit start-ups and small enterprises looking for a city centre base.”
Alex Tross, commercial director at Centrick, said: “Giants and Titans was looking for a city centre office with all the amenities on the doorstep and 21 Bennetts Hill ticked all the boxes. It has all the component parts that make it a compelling offer.
“Hybrid working is here to stay for sure, and if companies want their employees to come into the office in future they will have to give them something worth coming in for it’s a key tenement in any city centre office move. Giants and Titans recognised this and have moved to offices that are in the heart of the city, surrounded by shops, cafes and restaurants.”
