Hortons begins 41,000 sq ft industrial refurbishment at Cursley Distribution Park

Hortons has commenced refurbishment works at Cursley Distribution Park in Kidderminster, with a comprehensive upgrade of a vacant 41,706 sq ft industrial/warehouse unit.

The refurbishment of Unit 2 will involve a full back-to-frame programme, delivering high-quality modern industrial accommodation. Works will include new rooflights and external cladding, significantly enhancing the building’s specification and performance.

Cursley Distribution Park is a well established warehouse estate extending to 24 acres.

Formerly a secure MOD site, the estate was historically used for World War II munitions storage and now comprises a complex of warehouse buildings with ancillary stores and offices, alongside future development land.

Unit 2 is a single-storey detached building arranged over five bays of steel frame construction with pitched roofs, offering 5.4 metres to eaves, concrete flooring, lighting, and a combination of three level access roller shutter doors and two dock level loading doors.

Cannock-based Inco Contracts has been appointed as main contractor, with the unit available for occupation in Q2 2026.

Harry Young of Hortons said: “Our investment in the refurbishment of Cursley Distribution Park is designed to deliver the kind of space the market is actively looking for. We’re creating good quality, affordable industrial space that adds to local supply in Hartlebury, and the unit will be available on flexible lease terms.”

Cursley Distribution Park is located on Curslow Lane, between Shenstone and Hartlebury, close to the A443. The site lies approximately four miles south-east of Kidderminster, 13 miles north of Worcester and 18 miles south-west of Birmingham.

Access to the national motorway network is available via Junction 5 of the M5 through the A442 and A38, or Junction 6 via the A442 and A449.
