Wellington Industrial Estate welcomes five new occupiers following refurbishment

Hortons has announced a series of new industrial/warehouse lettings at Wellington Industrial Estate in Coseley, just months after completing an extensive refurbishment programme.

The largest deal is with Flexwin Co Ltd, a tailored packaging and logistics services provider, which has taken a 10-year lease on Unit 60, a 17,144 sq ft warehouse.

Dudley Council has signed a two-year lease on Unit 54, a 19,758 sq ft facility, while Hascelik UK, a steel manufacturer and supplier, has secured a five-year lease on Unit 55, spanning 15,277 sq ft.

Additionally, Quinton Concrete Services, a commercial construction company, and Actismart, a solar panel and EV charger installation company, have each taken one of eight newly built double-height small industrial units on the estate.

These new lettings follow Hortons’ recent investment in a comprehensive refurbishment of Wellington Industrial Estate, which created space for growing businesses and a range of high-quality units from 15,000 to 40,000 sq ft, complete with heavy-duty overhead cranes.

Jeremy Boothroyd of Hortons, said: “We’re really pleased to welcome five new occupiers to Wellington Industrial Estate so soon after completing the refurbishment works. The estate is now ideally placed to meet strong occupier demand for modern, well connected industrial space. These latest lettings reflect the quality of the units and the appeal of the location, and we’re continuing to see healthy interest in the remaining space.”

Wellington Industrial Estate offers secure, well maintained industrial space just off the A4123 Birmingham New Road, close to Junction 2 of the M5 motorway. Joint agents for the site are Bulleys, Sellers Chartered Surveyors and Harris Lamb.
