Hortons partners with The Lily Mae Foundation
14 October 2026
Hortons has named baby loss support charity The Lily Mae Foundation as its employee charity of the year for 2026/27.
Over the next twelve months, Hortons staff will take part in fundraising activities to support the Solihull-based charity, which provides practical and emotional support to bereaved parents and their families.
The Foundation was established by Amy and Ryan Jackson in 2010 following the loss of their daughter, Lily Mae. Named in her memory, the charity supports parents and families affected by stillbirth, neonatal death, miscarriage and medical termination.
Its comprehensive and unique range of services includes one-to-one support, monthly support meetings, memory boxes and therapeutic activities for children.
Ryan Jackson, founder and managing director of The Lily Mae Foundation, said: “We are deeply grateful to Hortons for choosing The Lily Mae Foundation as their charity partner. Losing a baby is an unimaginable heartbreak, and no family should ever have to walk through that grief alone.
“The support from Hortons and their team will directly fund our essential services across the West Midlands, from providing memory boxes that help parents create irreplaceable keepsakes with their babies, to delivering dedicated one-to-one bereavement support, support groups, and therapeutic support for children.
“Knowing our care has already supported a member of the Hortons team during such a difficult time makes this partnership particularly special to us. We are looking forward to working with their staff, suppliers, and consultants over the next year to break the silence around baby loss and raise vital funds for grieving families.”
Hortons’ partnership with The Lily Mae Foundation builds on the company’s long-standing commitment to charitable giving in the West Midlands. Previous initiatives have included support for Promise Dreams, which creates special experiences for seriously and terminally ill children and their families.
Nina Meeks of Hortons said: “The Lily Mae Foundation is a wonderful charity that provides support to parents and families across the West Midlands and beyond. It is also a cause that is especially important to Hortons, having made a meaningful difference to one of our colleagues during an incredibly difficult time.
“We look forward to supporting the Foundation over the coming year and enabling friends of our business to join us in fundraising for this worthwhile cause.”
